Qualifications

MARIA KOETTER, CHMM, LEED AP
President, Principal Scientist

Ms. Koetter is the founder and President of Bgreen2 LLC with over eighteen years of experience in the environmental industry working with both government and private sector clients.  Her experience includes carbon footprint assessments; preparation of Green Action Plans; sustainability instruction and training; facility compliance audits and permitting; oversight for all phases of contaminant assessment and remediation; technical document preparation and business continuity planning. 

Prior to Bgreen2, Ms. Koetter was employed at the top 10 national consulting firm Tetra Tech, Inc. as a senior project manager.  In this capacity, Ms. Koetter supervised client programs and led a diverse group of cross-functional project teams through all aspects of client services and daily work regimes.  Ms. Koetter managed and supported national and local client contracts for numerous multi-project portfolios.  Ms. Koetter also has extensive experience interacting with State and Federal regulatory agency personnel. 

Ms. Koetter’s environmental expertise and passion for natural resource conservation culminated in the 2007 launch of Bgreen2.  Bgreen2 was founded to offer sustainability solutions for clients seeking to enhance their environmental stewardship position.  Ms. Koetter develops and implements client programs which emphasize environmentally conscious decision making and identify eco-friendly business practices.  Ms. Koetter has also presented numerous sustainability lectures and instructional training workshops.
